By mid-morning, the nerves had already turned into excitement, and by evening, that excitement had turned into pure celebration. That was the arc of Oshaji and Bryan's wedding day at Villa Bokéh in Antigua Guatemala, a venue so beautiful it practically became a character of its own, setting the tone for everything that followed.
The day began with getting ready, quiet moments full of anticipation as Oshaji and her bridesmaids, dressed in soft light blue, prepared for what was ahead. There's always a particular kind of energy in these early hours, equal parts calm and nerves, and this morning had plenty of both.
Then came the first look, and this one had two parts worth mentioning. First, Bryan saw Oshaji for the first time that day, a moment full of emotion that set the tone for everything ahead. Shortly after, Oshaji shared a first look of her own, this time with her father and grandfather, a quieter, tender moment that reminded everyone just how much love surrounded her that day.
The ceremony followed, with Oshaji in a beautiful white gown and Bryan in a white blazer that mirrored her elegance perfectly. Their vows were exchanged with the lake as a backdrop, calm water reflecting the sky and framing the two of them in something almost cinematic.
After the ceremony, we moved into portraits, taking advantage of Villa Bokéh's scenery to capture Oshaji and Bryan as newlyweds, walking along the water, laughing between poses, soaking in the moment together. From there, guests gathered for cocktail hour, filled with easy conversation and the kind of joy that comes right after two people say "I do."
The decor throughout the day deserves its own mention. Every detail felt intentional, soft blue accents echoing the bridesmaids' dresses, elegant table settings, and touches that tied the entire celebration together beautifully.
By the time reception arrived, the space felt transformed, full of music, dancing, and a room completely wrapped up in celebration.
