Katie & Zach: A Wedding on Lago di Garda, Italy

We first met Katie and Zach back in Naples, during their save the date session, long before we knew their wedding would take us all the way to Lago di Garda, Italy. Getting to follow their story from that first shoot to their wedding day made this celebration feel even more special.
We shot Super 8 footage throughout the weekend, giving Katie and Zach a piece of content with that soft, grainy, nostalgic quality that only Super 8 can capture. There's something about the texture and imperfection of it that feels timeless, almost like a home movie passed down for years to come. It's one of our favorite ways to add a different kind of memory to a wedding, one that feels just as much like a keepsake as it does a film.
The weekend began with a welcome cocktail for their guests, a warm and easy evening that set the tone for everything to come. It was the perfect chance for family and friends to come together before the big day, filled with laughter, toasts, and that unmistakable pre-wedding excitement in the air.
Katie's getting ready took place at the Grand Hotel Fasano, a setting as elegant as the day itself. She wore a beautiful floral dress that felt fresh and romantic, perfectly suited to the lakeside setting and the intimacy of the day ahead.
The ceremony and reception were held at Villa Fiordaliso, and intimate was exactly the right word for it. Every detail felt personal and thoughtfully chosen, especially the decor, styled with fruit, flowers, and vegetables woven together in a way that felt organic and effortlessly beautiful. It gave the entire day a warmth that photographs alone almost can't fully capture.
Alongside the photography and content creation we also captured the day on film, adding another layer to how Katie and Zach's wedding will be remembered, movement, sound, and moments that unfold a little differently than a still frame ever could.
From Naples to Lago di Garda, Katie and Zach's journey came full circle in the most beautiful way. Thank you both for letting us be part of this story from the very beginning.
