Olivia & Trent: A Wedding at Ruinas Santa Clara, Antigua Guatemala

Some stories come into our lives just a few months before the wedding day, and Olivia & Trent’s was one of them. From our very first conversation, we knew their day would be filled with genuine moments, joy, and so much love.

To start the day, they rented an Airbnb where they got ready surrounded by their closest family and friends. It was the perfect place to slow down, enjoy the excitement, and soak in every moment before everything began.

Their first look also took place at the Airbnb, and it quickly became one of the most emotional moments of the day. Seeing each other for the first time before the ceremony was such a beautiful reminder that it’s often the simplest moments that become the most unforgettable.

Later, we headed to the Ruinas de Santa Clara, where they exchanged vows surrounded by the people they love most. Every hug, every smile, and every happy tear reflected the love and

support that filled the day from beginning to end.

The décor was thoughtfully designed with soft, romantic details that complemented the surroundings perfectly. Elegant floral arrangements, warm lighting, and carefully curated accents created an atmosphere that felt both refined and welcoming.

During their portrait session, Trent surprised Olivia with butterflies, a moment that felt straight out of a dream. Olivia was completely surprised and emotional, it was such a unique and beautiful gesture that made their portraits even more unforgettable.

We photographed Olivia and Trent on film for their wedding, capturing every moment with a timeless and emotional aesthetic. It was such a special process, where each frame felt more intentional and meaningful.

The reception also took place there, making the entire evening feel intimate, seamless, and full of meaning in one beautiful location.
