Weddings begin long before the “I do” at the altar.
Weddings begin in a look that lingers half a second longer. In hands that reach for each other without thinking. In the quiet certainty of “it’s you.” It was no different for Jack and Jill. Even before the vows, you could see forever written on their faces.
Their wedding was marked by deep emotion, coastal elegance, and details designed with so much intention. Most of their family traveled from Arizona. Others came from Naples. But more than guests, what filled the weekend was community. Friendships that have stood the test of time. People who don’t just show up, they hold you up.
At this wedding, something very special was clear: their friends are their family. You could see it in every embrace, every tear, every shared laugh.
We had the honor of photographing the day and creating content as well, capturing not only how it looked, but how it felt.
Sea, Salt & Celebration
The welcome cocktail was the first exhale of the weekend. Warm hugs that lingered. Glasses raised by the sea. Conversations flowing with ease. It was the perfect blend of elegance and warmth.
And then, their special touch. They invited every guest to arrive in sea-inspired costumes. Mermaids. Pirates. Sailors. Ocean muses. The terrace quickly filled with movement, texture, and laughter. It felt playful yet perfectly aligned with the coastal setting. Completely immersive. Completely them. From that very first night, you could tell this wouldn’t just be a beautiful wedding. It would be a deeply meaningful one.
The Art of Becoming a Bride & a Groom
Jill got ready at the hotel, in a room overlooking the ocean. Soft natural light filled the space, the sea quietly reminding her that the day had arrived.
She did her own makeup. As an artist, she wanted to look and feel like herself. It was an intimate moment in front of the mirror, breathing deeply, smiling through nerves and excitement.
She was surrounded by her mom and her bridesmaids. Laughter, music, hugs. And then the moment that changed everything: her mom placing the veil she had made herself, carefully helping with the final touches of the dress.
The gown, by Galia Lahav, was stunning. But what made it even more special were the hand-finished details created by her mom. She also made the gloves Jill would later wear for her second look, thoughtfully designed to perfectly match the dress. A gesture full of love, dedication, and meaning.
A Private Beginning and The First Look
The first look took place inside the hotel: The Ritz, Calton. As she walked toward Jack, her bridesmaids gently carried her dress, almost as if they were holding the moment itself. There were nervous laughs, knowing glances, quiet anticipation.
And when Jack turned around, time seemed to stand still. His expression said everything. Pure love. Pride. Admiration. It was intimate, honest, and deeply emotional.
The Ones Who Held Them Up
During the family and bridal party photos, something felt different. It wasn’t just tradition. It was real connection. Their friends looked at them with a kind of joy and pride that only comes from having been part of the story for years. Long hugs. Inside jokes. Tears that weren’t hidden. More than guests, they were pillars.
Where the Ocean Witnessed It All
The ceremony took place by the sea, with the sound of the waves carrying every word. The wind moved her veil softly. The endless horizon made everything feel eternal. As they exchanged vows, one thing felt undeniable: this union wasn’t only between two people, but between two deeply intertwined communities.
An Intentional Celebration
The reception was an extension of Jill’s creative heart. Every detail was thoughtfully curated by her, colors, lighting, textures, composition. Everything had intention.
Then came the second look. Jill appeared wearing the gloves her mom had handmade, perfectly paired with her dress. It was elegant, emotional, unforgettable. The guests watched her with admiration. Jack couldn’t stop smiling.
The dance floor filled quickly. Toasts brought tears. Laughter blended with music and soft glowing lights. Jack and Jill didn’t just celebrate a marriage. They celebrated a shared life, surrounded by a community that loves them deeply.
It was a wedding where art met emotion. Where details told stories. Where friends carried the dress. Where a mother stitched gloves with her own hands.
And for us, it was a privilege to capture every second, preserving not just the image of the day, but the heartbeat behind it. Are you ready to experience the same?
